“ Stopped for lunch today been before and it’s always a treat. The setting is lovely and the food extraordinary. Now it will cost you double (or more) what a trip to a Wetherspoons will cost you but it’s worth every penny. We are so sick of paying through the nose for bland unimaginative meals that leave us feeling robbed, this place on the other hand left us feeling like we’d attended a feast. From the hand cut chips, crispy yet juicy onion rings to the beef pie and the Welsh beef burger it was all beautifully done and as for the beef dripping heavy well hubbie says next time he’s going to order an extra jug and drink it And I must mention the service too a lovely young local lady was our waitress polite, efficient and confident and the bar man friendly, chatty and gracious in accepting our compliments. Well done Cross Foxes ”

Would recommend to pop in for drinks or food as its a convenient stop off if your traveling to Dolgellau, Aberystwyth or Barmouth. ”
